"You've been quiet lately"
Ugh. This has been sitting at the top of my queue for quite a while. It was time I threw it out there and moved on tomorrow. I doodled this based on a decent photograph we had taken in Victoria. Not sure what happened in translation. Probably laziness and a good enough attitude.
The week crawls closer to the New Years. I'm looking forward to it.

Lots to think on
A warm, rainy Friday. At least it's not snowing and freezing here. The weekend is almost here. We're having a Naginata party on Sunday. This is our first large get together at the new house. We're looking forward to it.

It's almost here
It's more than almost here, it's here!
Feels like a Friday today. My mother is flying in this evening after Julie and I go out to our anniversary dinner. Very busy two weeks! First Joyce visits, now my mom. Lots of shopping planned for this weekend. And the forecast is clear and sunny and perfect. (Hopefully not too hot. I know my mother is just waiting to do her "I told you so" dance about our lack of air conditioning.)

Keep it moving
Julie and I have been walking almost every day in the park. It's our fitness plan (the best Julie can do given her current state)
The heat has descended but the evenings are still bearable for sleep. By the late weekend the temperature returns to 70 and sunny where it belongs.
