Bunnies and Trucks

Saturday, January 6, 2007

Rebecca screamed from the end of the hallway. Charlie watched in amusement as two brave people stuck their heads out of their doors to see what type of beast could create such a sound. When they saw Rebecca’s red face, her neck flapping freely, making a wet clapping sound, they quickly went back into their apartments and slammed the doors shut. There was nothing good going on in the hall, certainly nothing they wanted to get involved with.

Rebecca was yelling at Charlie, he knew. She was too angry for him to make out the words she was using. He caught his name mentioned a few times, and there was something about bunnies or trucks, but that was it.
